This time to the heart of Champagne, to Waris-Larmandier in Avize. An estate that has steadily developed into an absolute benchmark in the region over the past few years.

Particules Crayeuses is a pure translation of the Côte des Blancs. This champagne matures for no less than five years in the bottle and perfectly showcases what the unique terroir has to offer. The small quantities of this lieu-dit make this an exceptional cuvée for the true connoisseur.

Champagne Waris-Larmandier

Waris-Larmandier is a family house that brought in its first harvest in 1989. Since 2000, Marie-Hélène has been at the helm, together with her children, and today son Pierre-Louis continues this tradition. The estate is located in Avize, one of the absolute grand cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, where Chardonnay undeniably plays the leading role.

Avize is situated directly on the chalk plateau, with only a minimal topsoil layer. The vines root deep into the chalk, imparting that distinct minerality to the grapes – and ultimately to the champagne in the glass. Widely available, but exclusively in the Netherlands through Karakter Wijnimport.
