Collection: Domaine de Dauliac
The ancestors of the current owners Thierry and Ghislaine Baltenwech settled in the Cahors region in 1852. Their first harvest was released in 1877. The estate is located on the third terrace, the most prestigious in Cahors with its clay-limestone soils.
With their eco-friendly work ethic, the Baltenwechs had the estate organically certified in 2013. The wine is 100% Malbec with an average age of 40 years, but some vines date back more than 100 years. This wine is aged only in concrete tanks and stainless steel, preserving the freshness of the Malbec fruit.
This is the pure essence of Malbec from the original home of the 'Black Grape'.
