Domaine les Charmettes

In the heart of the Languedoc, in the Hérault department, lies the 80-hectare estate of the Alcon family. For four generations, they have been working according to environmentally friendly agricultural methods (agriculture raisonnée).

Rows of tall trees protect the vineyards from the powerful Mediterranean wind, which also provides necessary cooling. The winery cultivates various indigenous as well as more well-known grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Viognier.

The family's drive combined with the terroir make this a particularly good winery.
