Old Collection

Fondo Antico is a household name in western Sicily. A very old (antico) company that has always moved with the times. This producer from Trapani proves that volume and quality can go hand in hand. Fondo Antico owns no less than 80 hectares of vineyards, so only high-quality fruit from their own estate is used for production.

The focus is on indigenous grape varieties, including Grillo, Inzolia, Grecanico, and Nero d'Avola, although small quantities of international cépages such as Chardonnay, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon are also established.

This producer offers wines where drinkability is combined with authenticity, ripe sunny fruit with character and individuality; given the price, we cannot recommend these wines enough.
