Giangirolami

Family estate from Lazio, about forty kilometers southeast of Rome (between Aprilia and Latina). Founded by father Dante Giangirolami in 1956, and grown by son Donato. The Azienda has been fully organic since 1993.

About 40 hectares are used for viticulture, mainly with the traditional grape varieties of Lazio. In addition to grapes, they also grow other fruit crops on this estate.

The lion's share of the wines (unsurprisingly) ends up in the osterias, trattorias and restaurants of Rome. Fortunately, some is also available for export.
