Jean-Pascal Aubron

Jean Aubron is a modest Muscadet farmer who makes wines of great class in a fine price category. Since 1983, Pascal has been at the helm of the winery as the 4th generation. Under his care, the company has grown to 83 hectares, 35 of which are located in the prestigious Clos d'Audigere, planted on Gabbro, a volcanic soil type that facilitates the deep digging of the vines' roots and adds mineral complexity. Despite the size of the company, Pascal's rule is that the vineyards may not be further than 15km from the domain. This ensures recognizability in origin and maintaining control during the harvest. Pascal works organically, sustainably, and with minimal sulfites where necessary to guarantee the stability of the wines.
