Antoniolo

Az. Vitivinicola Antoniolo SRL: top producer in Gattinara. 'The Antoniolo family business was founded in 1948 by Mario Antoniolo, who proved to have foresight. He bought several south to southwest-facing vineyards in the rocky hills – at the time not particularly sought-after locations because yields were usually low.

From the 1970s onwards, under the leadership of his daughter Rosanna, the company played a pioneering role in the region, especially as it was the first producer to market high-quality single-vineyard wines. The company is currently run by the third generation, brother and sister Alberto and Lorella.

They own 15 hectares spread across five vineyards. Annual production is around 50,000 bottles, exclusively from their own vineyards.
