The Juvenia is Antoniolo's only wine that lies outside the Gattinara appellation. Many vineyards with a wide variety of grape types are situated along the Alpine river Sesia. Antoniolo has a small but very interesting vineyard here: the Juvenia. River clay and volcanic rock pushed directly from the Alps towards the Po have settled in the Juvenia vineyard. Alberto and Lorella naturally chose to plant only Nebbiolo here. Every year, demand exceeds supply due to its very strong price-quality ratio. All characteristics of Nebbiolo can be found in this wine: minty, earthy, length.
