Weingut Gerd Stepp, 2024
0.375L Beerenauslese 2024
0.375L Beerenauslese 2024
Intensely sweet, made from Ortega (a cross between Müller-Thurgau and Siegerrebe). For the Beerenauslese, the ripest grapes are harvested from the bunches and fermented separately into this exclusive wine. Among these grapes are also many affected by "noble rot," the pourriture noble. As a result, a large part of the moisture has evaporated, making the wine intensely sweet and concentrated. Deep flavors of apricot and mango, citrus, floral notes, and beautiful acidity keep the sweetness perfectly balanced.
