Marcello and Giampaolo Vaona's Amarone is just like the brothers themselves: moderate and refined. The wine is made following a biodynamic recipe. Le Balze is Novaia's best vineyard. This Riserva 'Le Balze', compared to the house's 'regular Amarone', has even more depth and subtlety. Every year, the wine receives high journalistic scores from various wine critics. The taste offers hints of dark bitter chocolate, licorice, and blueberry. The high alcohol content is well integrated into the wine's firm structure. A light Amarone made for its fruit.

Family business of the Vaona family in high Valpolicella. The vineyards around Marano (in the north of the region, higher vineyards) produce relatively refined and fruity wines for Valpolicella standards.

Even as concentration levels increase, for example with Amarone and Ripasso, the wine retains its lightness.

They work completely organically here, with a relatively small production of about 40,000 bottles per year.
