Cidre de Normandie Brut Rue des 4

A crisp cider from the Normandy region of France. This brut cider is characterized by its light, fruity taste and a subtle acidity that is perfectly balanced with the apple aromas present. Meer over Maison Kalder

At the end of 2024, while wine tasting in Paris, we stumbled upon the beautiful biodynamic ciders of Maison Kalder. We were absolutely blown away.
Judith, originally from Rotterdam, and her Parisian husband Alexandre Sidenko create incredibly beautiful ciders and a heavenly Poiré.
In the village of Saint-Marie-du-Bois, their Maison Kalder is located in the heart of Norman cider culture.

They started maintaining the very old apple and pear trees using biodynamic principles. The pressing and fermentation are done in the old-fashioned way and follow the "natural" principles we know from the wine world. No added sulfites, no filtering, and only native yeasts. Chemical treatments in the orchards or cellar are strictly forbidden. Although they only realized their first bottling in 2021, their ciders have already found their way into both the classic Michelin gastronomy of France and the natural wine scene of Paris. With this, Maison Kalder provides living proof that quality and authenticity always transcend all "boxes."
