For the Nec-Otium wines, Christian Patat (that's his real name) uses grapes from top wineries, which are no longer needed by these wineries. Because the grapes come from both Collio and Colli Orientali, the wine is given the relatively general origin Venezia Giulia.
However, the true origin is eastern Friuli, near the Slovenian border and the Julian Alps. Very precise, pure and typical wines.
