Crisp Veltliner, full of grapefruit, citrus peel, green herbs, and white pepper. Very pleasant to drink, a real crowd-pleaser.

The Klein family has been making wine in Pernersdorf since 1788, and for 13 generations, the patriarch has been named Julius. Truly a traditional winery. That doesn't stop Julius XIII from fully pursuing his own ideas: he opts for even more work in the vineyard, resulting in ever-increasing quality.
The terroir around Pernersdorf is characterized by relatively poor loess and loam soil, ideal for Grüner Veltliner. This is then vinified without oak aging, with an emphasis on freshness, spiciness, and delicate fruit. The red wines are made from St. Laurent and Zweigelt, which Julius also knows how to handle.
Furthermore, production also consists of a multitude of other white wines, whether sweet or sparkling.
