Lionel Gosseaume, 2025
Les Galipettes Touraine rosé 2025
Les Galipettes Touraine rosé 2025
is a rosé made by direct pressing. The wine has an aroma and taste that you expect from a good Loire rosé, with ripe red fruit. The wine has a slight sweetness because Lionel's local market demands it. Sweet, sour, fruity... delicious!

Lionel Gosseaume comes from a family of winemakers – his family's estate is just a stone's throw from Lionel's home – but he chose a life far removed from winemaking. Nevertheless, at the age of 37, he returned to his native soil and, in 2007, took over the vineyards of Jean-Claude Maurice, who had cultivated them wisely since the 1960s.
His estate now covers more than 15 hectares, of which Sauvignon Blanc accounts for 75% and Gamay for about 15%. He also has some Côt and Cabernet Sauvignon. But the most special varieties at Gosseaume are Menu Pineau and, especially, Meslier-Saint-François. The latter is an old local variety (a natural cross between Gouais Blanc and Chenin Blanc) that is almost extinct, and Lionel is one of the few producers of it in the world.
Lionel has 0.3 hectares, and the yield from these, which he keeps low due to the firm acidity of Meslier-Saint-François, he blends with Sauvignon Blanc to create the very original and delicious Vin de France called Climat Nº2.
