Clos Saint Thomas, 2024

'Les Gourmets Rosé' 2024

'Les Gourmets Rosé' 2024

In this rosé, the French influence on Lebanese viticulture is clearly recognizable. A 'typical Southern French rosé' made from well-known French grape varieties. Full-bodied, with juicy notes of strawberry and raspberry and a full-fruited taste with a slightly dry finish. A luxurious feel with a warm sun.

Meer over Clos Saint Thomas

Wine estate of the charming Touma family from near Zahleh in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley. The late father, Zahid Touma, had extensive knowledge of the grapevines in this area, although he primarily used them to make arak. After the civil war, daughter Nathalie and son Joe fully committed to winemaking, resulting in beautiful, authentic, and distinctive wines.

The fact that viticulture has existed here for several millennia becomes even clearer when you visit the Greek temple dedicated to the god Dionysus, just around the corner from this estate.
