Palmento Costanzo was founded in 2011, when Mimo Costanzo acquired approximately 7 hectares of beautiful old vines (between 30 and 100 years old). These 'bush vines' are located on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, near the village of Passopisciaro.
There are approximately 48,000 vines, with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio making up the majority. Italians have known for decades that absolute top-quality wine is made here. The international press is now also discovering this.
