Weingut Gerd Stepp, 2024
Pinot Noir Tradition 2024
Pinot Noir Tradition 2024
Fruity and smooth red wine, elegant with light earthy notes. We taste strawberry, cherry, and blackberry fruit, but also a hint of cinnamon and bay leaf. The wine has mild acidity and low tannins, so smoothness is guaranteed. Although Gerd could have labelled it Spätburgunder, he prefers the more recognizable international name: Pinot Noir. Just as Riesling is the grape for white wine in Germany, Pinot Noir/Spätburgunder is the grape for red.
