Simon & Daniel Chotard, 2023

Sancerre Rouge 'Chant de L'Archet' 2023

Sancerre Rouge 'Chant de L'Archet' 2023

The name 'Chant de L'Archet' refers to the harmonious sounds of the terroir and the tradition of the Chotard family. Upon tasting, the wine reveals a delicate balance between ripe red fruit aromas such as cherries and raspberries, and a subtle spiciness typical of Pinot Noir. The wine has an elegant structure, with a beautiful fresh acidity that keeps the fruit well-balanced. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, making the wine smooth and approachable. Aging in oak barrels adds extra complexity with notes of spices and a light smokiness, which deepen the flavor profile.
